The K-PaaS Service Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) detail the provisions governing and regulating the legal relationship between the service provider, the Open Cloud Platform Alliance (OPA), and the service user, the customer (‘Customer’ or “User”).

CHAPTER 1 GENERAL RULES

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms and Conditions govern the usage conditions and procedures for all services provided by the K-PaaS Portal site (hereinafter referred to as the K-PaaS Portal), the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the K-PaaS Portal site, and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

1. If user agrees to these Terms, they shall take precedence over any other terms governing the provision of services by
    the K-PaaS Portal Site and your use of such services.

2. The K-PaaS portal site may modify these Terms of Service without prior notice. The modified Terms will be posted on the K-PaaS portal site, and their effect shall take place simultaneously with the posting.

Article 3 (Supplementary Rules)

Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the provisions of the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, the Deliberation Regulations of the Information and Communications Ethics Committee, the Information and Communications Ethics Code, the Program Protection Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.

Article 4 (Definitions of Terms)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows.

1. User : A person receiving services provided by the K-PaaS portal site in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Chapter 2 Service Provision and Use

Article 5 (Suspension of Service)

1. The K-PaaS portal site may arbitrarily restrict or suspend service usage if a user engages in conduct that violates the terms of this agreement.

Article 6 (Service Changes and Termination)

1. The K-PaaS portal site shall not be liable for any profits or losses you may expect from using the service, or for any damages incurred from materials obtained through the service. Furthermore, the portal site shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, or other aspects of the content of any information, materials, or facts posted by users on this service.
2. The K-PaaS portal site shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users in connection with the use of the service that result from the user's intentional acts or negligence..

Article 7 (Copyright of Posted Content)

1. You have the right to the content of the post you posted.
2. The K-PaaS portal site reserves the right to edit or move posted content without prior notice and may delete it without prior notice in accordance with the bulletin board operation principles.
3. You shall bear full responsibility for any civil or criminal liability arising from your post infringing upon another person's copyright.

Chapter 3 Obligations and Responsibilities

Article 8 (Obligations of the K-PaaS Portal Site)

1. The K-PaaS portal site does not disclose or distribute users' personal information to third parties without their consent. However, this does not apply when required by relevant laws and regulations, such as telecommunications-related statutes, or upon request by relevant government agencies.

Article 9 (User Obligations)

1. Users may not engage in any commercial activities using the service without prior consent from the K-PaaS portal site.

Chapter 4 Miscellaneous

Article 10 (Prohibition of Giveaway)

1. Users may not transfer or gift their service usage rights or other status under the service agreement to others.

Article 11 (Compensation for Damages)

1. The K-PaaS Portal Site shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users in connection with the free services provided, except in cases of intentional criminal acts committed by the K-PaaS Portal Site.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

1. The K-PaaS portal site neither approves, opposes, nor modifies opinions expressed by users or third parties. The K-PaaS portal site shall not be liable under any circumstances for any gains obtained or damages incurred by users as a result of relying on information contained within the service.
2. The K-PaaS portal site assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any transactions involving goods or monetary exchanges between users or between users and third parties mediated through the service, nor does it bear any responsibility for the benefits users may expect from using the service.

Article 13 (Jurisdiction)

1. Disputes arising from the use of services between the K-PaaS portal site and its users shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any lawsuits arising from such disputes shall be filed in the courts of the Republic of Korea.
Supplementary Provisions 1. (Effective Date) These Terms and Conditions shall take effect on December 5, 2022.
